I just love the ships fromStarfleet. I have no need for anything like this, but dang, it is pretty. I'm more interested in the smaller escort sized ships, but again I like the looks of this Andromeda Class.

This is absolutely my favorite starship class ever … not sure if it’s canon but it should be. My original favorite was hands down the Galaxy class, the most beautiful and potentially capable ship ever utilized by Starfleet. The Ross class is that fully capable vessel that has all the capabilities needed to be a true military style Starfleet battleship instead of an exploration ship. It has a much bigger warp core, more weapons and larger weapons bay, more room for officers and strategic battle arrays due to the deletion of the civilian family living quarters. Still has scientific and exploratory capabilities with it being regarded as a space station of sorts; it has so many more features that are unmentioned. The best ship ever in my opinion.

When l first saw the USS Kelvin, my first thought was WTF am l looking at. But l gradually came to realize that its true beauty lies in its eminently practical, no frills, no nonsense, all business, ultimate space workhorse design platform, along with its sleekly expansive and broadly enormous saucer (unlike the absurdly bloated, ungainly, awkwardly top-heavy, and disproportionate Galaxy of the next century), and l was hooked. Now she's my absolute number one favorite starship configuration of all.

Actually, I rather prefer John Eaves Concept version of Discovery era USS Enterprise, indeed!

My most favourite Section 31 ship is NCIA 93 intel Science Destroyer!

1701-C, a beautiful ship that we may never explore. Was it just another ship, or a flag ship? Alas, we may not know. If we can ever reach for the stars, we can hope that this will be a model to use for the real thing.
